Exciting times ahead! We are thrilled to prepare for the international project meeting for ZERODEFECT4PV at INELSO in beautiful Antalya, Turkey on May 19th!
A huge thank you to our consortium partner, Farzaneh Bagheri , for kicking off this important gathering. Patrali Majumder and I, Hannes Peter Wasser, are eager to meet our project partners in person, explore INELSO’s impressive facilities , and review the innovative PV sensors (DCU-Data Collection Units) developed for our pilot projects in Romania with BEIA and Fraunhofer IFF. These advancements will enhance the data foundation for training ML algorithms/models aimed at precise fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance of PV systems.
Our agenda includes:
- Reviewing the current project status and upcoming tasks
- Presenting INELSO facilities
- Discussing future collaborations and project ideas
Additionally, we will be participating in the “CPEPOWERENG, 19th International Conference on Compatibility, Power Electronics and Power Engineering” from May 20-22 , where we will present our paper titled “Review of AI Methods for Fault Diagnosis and Predictive Maintenance in Solar Panels” , developed in collaboration with:
- Fraunhofer IFF: Hannes Peter Wasser, Christoph Wenge
- INELSO: Farzaneh Bagheri
- BEIA: George Suciu, Cristian Beceanu
This work focuses on:
- Identifying fault types in PV systems and their impact on energy yield
- A comprehensive overview of conventional and AI-based diagnostic methods
- Bridging gaps and exploring innovation opportunities to enhance PV system efficiency and reliability
- Integrating AI into monitoring and maintenance systems for accurate fault prediction and diagnosis
