Participation in the CPEPOWERENG – 19th International Conference on Compatibility, Power Electronics and Power Engineering

ZERODEFECT4PV project participated in the “CPEPOWERENG, 19th International Conference on Compatibility, Power Electronics and Power Engineering” from May 20-22 , where our consortium presented the paper titled “Review of AI Methods for Fault Diagnosis and Predictive Maintenance in Solar Panels” , developed in collaboration with:

  • Fraunhofer IFF: Hannes Peter Wasser, Christoph Wenge
  • INELSO: Farzaneh Bagheri
  • BEIA: George Suciu, Cristian Beceanu

This work focuses on:

  • Identifying fault types in PV systems and their impact on energy yield
  • A comprehensive overview of conventional and AI-based diagnostic methods
  • Bridging gaps and exploring innovation opportunities to enhance PV system efficiency and reliability
  • Integrating AI into monitoring and maintenance systems for accurate fault prediction and diagnosis

CPE-POWERENG is a flagship conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) devoted to the dissemination of new ideas, research and work in progress within the fields of power electronics, renewable energy integration, power generation, transmission and distribution, power systems, electromechanical energy conversion, automation and EMC/EMI issues.
